Back To The Future

Back To The Future

Hi everyone,
It’s been a while since I added anything new to the blog for a number of reasons, mainly due to holidays, staff issues and other boring stuff. However all of that is now out of the way so we can move forward again.

I wanted to let everyone know that we are still as busy as ever working on new features for the software and developing new techniques on how best to use the software on a daily basis.

Firstly though, We have had a few days of technical issues over the last few weeks so my apologies to anyone who found that there racing days were interrupted due to these issues. Nothing frustrates me more than when we are offline. As far as I’m concerned this should not happen at all, unfortunately we are sometimes at the mercy of “technical issue” as I’m constantly been told by the technical team.
We are constantly looking at ways to improve this behind the scenes area to make sure any outage times are kept to an absolute minimum, or any work conducted is done so in a manner which doesn’t affect our racing, usually at night. I have to hold my hand up and say sometimes these errors are beyond my control and as much as I wish I could fix the faults myself, unfortunately I have to rely on the tech guys to get the job done a.s.a.p. to be fair they really do jump through hoops.
The main cause of my frustration has been server errors which in turn caused the ratings to not be available when requested. We are working closely with the chaps who manage and host our databases and since we launched they have implemented a number of new measures to help us become more stable on a daily basis.

Racing Development; As some of you may be aware we have been designing a web service version of the software. We are taking a great deal of care to make sure the next version of the software is the best on the market, and it will yet again take a giant leap forward in terms of development features and what we actually provide to our members.

My goal from the start of this project was to build a Form Reading Tool which not only cut down the selection process but also provided the user with the ability to customise the way they defined the ratings in terms of finding selections, above all the software needed to be easy to use. The next version of the software will take all this onboard and provide even greater flexibility as well as coming fully loaded with a host of new features.

The team are determined to continue our development using the best technology possible for you our members, “Ok the software is for me also” and that’s why I continue to invest a great deal of time effort and money into making sure we all benefit from having the best “Form Reading Tool” on offer for many years to come.

Presidential speech over I promise; On another note I have managed to clear a considerable part of my work load so that I’m able to commit even greater time working on the software. Over the last few months my time spent sending and receiving emails has just completely taken over my life so I have enlisted additional staff to help me out and take care of all the general day to day running’s of the site. You will be pleased to know we have some updates almost complete for you, and I will as ever let you all know when to update as soon as we have everything finalised.

Betting Software Guy

Here at iRace Vision, you’ll find a recollection of the BSG as he’s known (Betting Software Guy) thoughts and opinions based on  professional experience regarding subjects and issues that are of interest to us all in the horse racing environment. Initially the blog was established as a means of bringing help and advice to people in a interesting way. BSG is passionate about horse racing, and has gone from novice punter to self taught pro, software developer and owner over the last 15 years. His main focus is to provide his members with the best quality horse racing software and racing advice, he has a tendency to make a lot of video tutorials and has developed a number of methods and free training over the years. If his head is not stuck in a book or reading horses form, or working on new ways to find more winning selections then he aint happy. You may find him at the race course from time to time or occasionally horse riding, however his days or ever hoping to become a jockey were delivered a cruel blow when he was introduced to the world of pastry at a young age. Feel free to take a look around and leave a comment, you can contact the BSG on the details below.

All i want to do is set the bot for any market on any sport to lay at 1.1 or less.
Can this be achieved?

Hi Steven, I think that you have got us confused with another service that you may have used! We are a software form reading tool, we don’t offer tips via a phone service. Thanks

Hi

Many bots need the brains of a Rocket Scientist and the patience of a saint to figure out: I do hope that your new (Improved) bot will cater for the dumbest of the dumb (ME)
